“The Value of Downtown” Forum
Join us Thursday, September 1, for an engaging presentation and and discussion on “The Value of Downtown” ~ the value of creating and maintaining vibrant downtowns, main streets, and commercial districts.
There are two sessions to choose from: 9:00-11:00 am or 4:00-6:00 pm, at Sheridan College Broadway Center, 245 Broadway.
Joe Minicozzi, recognized nationally for his work in downtown revitalization, will present an analysis of the tax revenue generated by different development types. His research demonstrates the extraordinary return taxpayers receive for the investment made in a downtown area. Discussion will follow.
This opportunity is brought to you by the City of Sheridan, Center for a Vital Community, Downtown Sheridan Association, Foundation for Community Vitality, North Main Neighborhood Association, Sheridan Community Land Trust, Sonoran Institute, and the Sheridan County Chamber.
