Summer Tourist Season Is Coming!

The month of May always starts our summer tourism season, and all the signs are there…

The Brinton Museum
Fort Phil Kearny Visitor Center
Trail End State Historic Site (Kendrick Mansion)
Sheridan County Museum
Peter D’s RV Park and the Sheridan/Big Horn Mountains KOA
Yellowstone‘s East Entrance (from Cody) opens Friday

And more openings still to come
(later in May or early June):
Kendrick Park ice cream stand (May 18)
Hwy 14A over the mountains
Campgrounds in the mountains
Medicine Wheel historic site
Eatons’ Horse Drive through Sheridan (May 26), 
   opening Eatons’ Ranch for the summer
Polo games (the first games are June 2)

The count is already up at our Visitor’s Center too – we’re now averaging over 200 visitors each day. (At the peak of the summer, we’ll have some days with a thousand visitors.) We had our first summer tour bus last Friday, and have already had five more tour buses this week. And we’ll be sending them your way!
