Primary Election – Candidate Forum
For August Primary Election
The Chamber’s Governmental Affairs Committee is once again hosting a Candidate Forum to provide an opportunity for those running for elected office in next month’s primary election to share information about themselves and their platforms. Each candidate will give a brief introduction, followed by a Q&A period.
The public is invited to attend; the sessions will also be available by audio and/or TV re-broadcast after the forum. (More information on the re-broadcasts to follow.)

Tuesday, August 5, 7:00 pm
– candidates for U.S. and State positions
Wednesday, August 6, 7:00 pm
– candidates for County, City and Town positions
Absentee Ballots. Absentee ballots for the August 19th primary election are already available. You can pick up a ballot (or actually vote) at the County Elections Office, on the 2nd floor of the county courthouse building. Or call the Elections Office at 674-2515 to have an absentee ballot mailed to you. Your completed absentee ballot must be back in the Elections Office OR dropped off at any polling place in Sheridan County by 7 pm on August 19 to be counted.
