Candidate Forum for November 4th General Election

Vote ButtonThe Chamber’s Governmental Affairs Committee is once again hosting a Candidate Forum to provide an opportunity for those running for elected office in the November 4th general election to share information about themselves and their platforms. Each candidate in a contested race will give an introductory statement, followed by a Q&A period. Uncontested candidates will also be introduced and have an opportunity to make a brief statement.  

The public is invited to attend; the sessions will also be available by audio and TV re-broadcast after the forum.

held at Sheridan College’s Whitney Presentation Hall

Tuesday, October 14, 7:00 pm
   – candidates for county, city, town positions; 
      candidates for school board and conservation district positions

Absentee Ballots. Absentee ballots for the November 4th general election are already available. You can pick up a ballot (or actually vote) at the County Elections Office, on the 2nd floor of the county courthouse building. Or call the Elections Office at 674-2515 to have an absentee ballot mailed to you. Your completed absentee ballot must be back in the Elections Office OR dropped off at any polling place in Sheridan County by 7 pm on November 4 to be counted.
