Requirement to Report Your New Hires
(including all of those new summer hires)

The Wyoming New Hire Reporting Center wants to remind businesses about new hire reporting. State and federal laws require all employers to report new and re-hired employees to a statewide directory within 20 days of the first day of work.

The Wyoming New Hire Reporting Center is a component of the State of Wyoming Child Support Enforcement Division, dedicated to helping children in Wyoming receive the child support to which they are entitled. The Center uses new hire information to locate parents who owe child support, to establish new child support orders, to enforce and modify existing orders, and to issue income withholding orders.

To comply with the law, employers should fax, mail or use the Center’s interactive website to report the following information:

Federal Employer Identification Number (FEIN)
Employer Name
Employer Phone and Fax and Email Address
Employer Payroll Address
Employee Social Security Number
Employee Name
Employee Address
Date of Hire (first day of work)
State of Hire (if a multi-state employer)
