The Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce Business Retention & Expansion Committee will celebrate national Manufacturing Day Friday, Oct. 2, with a virtual showcase of manufacturers in Sheridan and Johnson Counties.

Manufacturing Day is an annual national event that showcases modern manufacturing technology and the diverse, high-paying opportunities that a career in manufacturing can provide.

Twelve local businesses and the Sheridan College Technical Center are featured in the showcase to show how manufacturing works locally and about the career opportunities available. The Chamber will go live on its Facebook page at 8:30 a.m. Friday to kick off the celebration. The videos in the virtual showcase will also go live at that time on the Chamber’s YouTube Channel and will remain available through the month of October.

Local manufacturers featured are AlphaGraphics, Black Tooth Brewing Company, Craftco, EMIT, Kennon, L&H Industrial, Luminous Brewhouse, Mountain Meadow Wool, Sheridan Iron Works, The Sheridan Press, Vacutech and Weatherby.
