Chamber News and Announcements
Supervisors Training for Drug-Free Workplaces The Chamber's Workforce Development Committee invites you to attend the next supervisors training for identifying substance use and abuse in the workplace.
This FREE training qualifies for the mandatory two-hour annual supervisors training required for the drug-free workplace discount with Workers' Compensation. Even if you don't need the training for the Workers' Comp requirement, the workshops are a great way to see how a drug-free workplace policy can benefit your company.
Two identical workshops will be available Tuesday, February 28, at the Sheridan College C-TEL Auditorium. Sign up for either the 8:30-10:30 am session OR the 5:30-7:30 pm session. Advance registration is requested. For more information or to sign up employees from your business, call the Chamber at (307) 672-2485.

Accounting Skills for the Non-Financial Manager
Our first offering of this workshop reached maximum participation, even with a waiting list. So we've added a second chance to attend!

But these are all important concepts to understand if you're going to succeed in today's business world. Financial terms don't have to be scary. In this workshop, you will learn the basic financial skills that you need to become a successful, effective manager. In this workshop, you will learn the basic financial skills that you need to become a successful, effective manager - whether with a for-profit, government entity, or nonprofit.
