Hiring Legal Foreign Workers: What You Need to Know

When employers cannot fill staff positions with employees who are citizens of the United States, they may want to hire legal foreign workers. There are several government agencies involved with granting permission for foreign workers to work in the United States. Employers must seek certification through the Department of Labor to get a work visa for potential employees.

There are agents and attorneys available to assist an employer with getting an employment candidate certified, ensuring certain conditions be met and steps be followed.
