This old rock building, built in 1922 for just $827, is on the National Registry of Historic Places.

This is one of only a few one-room rock school buildings in Wyoming. The building is currently being refurbished to reflect the era of one-room rural schools.

Located just ten minutes from Clearmont, the Ucross Foundation Art Gallery hosts numerous art exhibitions and runs a unique artists-in-residence program drawing from all over the world. The foundation is on a 22,000 acre working ranch committed to ecologically sound ranching practices. Two of the approximately 100 artists colonies in the US are located in Sheridan County.
