“Standing Tall in an Upside Down World” – Registration Form
“Standing Tall in an Upside Down World”
Tuesday, January 14, 2014
at the Trails End Motel Conference Room
2125 N. Main St.
This training is a thought-provoking shared experience anchored in the common-sense principles of the Code of the West, and the belief that true integrity can only come from within. In short, “Standing Tall” will inspire you to become a better version of yourself — someone who can “stand tall” and move through your day with pride, knowing that you are being true to your beliefs. At a time when it feels as if ethical standards have plummeted and the whole world is upside-down, you can find grounding in the values that you hold deep at the core.
As Jim Owen states in his book, Cowboy Ethics, “If we want to encourage better ethical practices … we need something that will touch the deepest part of us — something that will make us want to do better and be better than we are.”
This UW-developed curriculum was designed specifically for Wyoming’s business and community leaders, and it has already had an overwhelming response in several communities around the state (including the first offering by the Sheridan County Chamber, last January). By clicking here you can get a description of the program, as well as a list of past attendees. Testimonials from recent participants are also available.
The cost of the workshop is $250 for the first participant from your business and $200 for each additional person. (See below for a possible grant to help cover this cost.)
To sign up for the workshop, just complete and submit the information below.
We particularly tell you about this workshop NOW because you might also want to apply for a Wyoming Workforce Training Grant to help cover some or all of the cost; for more information on the grant and the application process, click here. The grant application must be received at least 30 days before the event.
For more information, call the Sheridan County Chamber at (307) 672-2485.
