BUSINESS CONNECT GROUPS FAQs
WHAT IS A BUSINESS CONNECT GROUP?
Diverse perspectives and experiences are essential for better decision-making. A Chamber Business Connect Group gives you a trusted sounding board of 6-8 managers, business owners and/or key team members who are focused on building not only their own business but the business community.
WHY SHOULD I JOIN A BUSINESS CONNECT GROUP?
Draw on the experience of peers who’ve faced similar situations and can ask the tough questions. Gather weekly with leaders from similar or varying industries to talk candidly, gaining agenda-free perspectives from those who’ve faced similar challenges or can give feedback on your business idea. A seasoned facilitator will guide the discussions to help the group stay focused and meet the goals they have set for themselves.
HOW DOES A BUSINESS CONNECT GROUP HELP ME GROW MY BUSINESS?
Your facilitator is your guide, offering their own experience and will help direct you to the right resources and experts to help inform your most critical decisions. They can help you take a step back from problems that seem all consuming so that solutions become more apparent. Additionally, members of your group are there to serve as a think tank for everyone’s business ventures towards growth.
WILL THE GROUP DISCUSSIONS BE RELEVANT TO MY NEEDS?
This six-week program puts you and your connect group in the drivers seat. The topics discussed and added to the agendas will come from you to make the experience personal to you and your situation. Your group also will decide how you’ll meet – in person or via Zoom.
WHAT ABOUT NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS?
We have groups for you too! The Non-Profit Connect Groups are geared towards the challenges and issues faced by the non-profit sector.
