Wyoming Business Council:  Overall support and direction, especially to other organizations that can help with specific needs. Loans and grants, financial tools, energy audits. Information and advice on business permitting, business relocation, commercial real estate, co-op advertising, co-op marketing, and developing business-ready sites and buildings.

 Wyoming Small Business Development Center:  A good starting point for an entrepreneur just starting a business in Sheridan County. A network of three programs from the University of Wyoming: Small Business Development Center, Procurement Technical Assistance Center, and Market Research Center. Offering consulting support in areas such as business plans, marketing plans, licensing requirements, financial health checkups, business valuation, selling to the government, eCommerce, succession planning, international trade, tourism marketing, market research, business ethics, social media, and QuickBooks.

Shop Wyoming: is funded by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) through the CARES Act to assist business recovery from the effects of the pandemic and provide new opportunities to make businesses more resilient in the future.

The pandemic has demonstrated that Wyoming small businesses need new, contactless marketing methods to reach customers. This e-commerce platform is specifically designed to help Wyoming small businesses market and sell their products to local and national customers. Thanks to the CARES Act funding, there is no charge for Wyoming businesses to sell online with at this time. The objective of this site is to help small businesses launch an e-commerce presence that will reach current customers, find new customers, and increase sales volume and profit.

Every purchase made on this site directly benefits a Wyoming small business.

IMPACT Sheridan:  IMPACT Sheridan focuses on developing early stage, technology-based companies, with an emphasis on high-growth firms. The incubator program is focused on educating and supporting business start-ups throughout the state. IMPACT Sheridan provides statewide networking opportunities through an educational networking group called e2e Wyoming that is designed to improve the climate for the start-up and growth of entrepreneurial companies.
