Chamber Celebrates Graduation of Leadership Sheridan County Class

The 2023 Leadership Sheridan County graduates are: first row – Trevor Thorvaldson, Dina Garcia-Blanchard, Meg Kent, Erik Jacobson and Ian Hamilton; second row – Ty Fauber, Jami Kukal, Andrew Holmberg, Jill Benson and Thad Rigby; third row – Heather Miller, Shane Rader, Catherine Bare, Victoria Dahlstrom, Stefanie Gilbert, Susie Garber-Johnson and Tara Dollison; and fourth row – Janet Barnes, Amy Blumenstock, Jennifer McArthur, Stephanie Ellis and AJ Lawrence.

The Chamber celebrated the graduation of its 2023 Leadership Sheridan County Class during the Chamber Lunch program on Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2023.

Leadership Sheridan County is a program designed to inspire citizens to assume leadership roles in the community. The program’s goals are to identify future leaders, enhance community and leadership knowledge, establish valuable connections and promote civic and community involvement. The program consists of a retreat, seven full-day modules and an overnight trip to Cheyenne spanning a 10-month time period.

Anyone over the age of 18 can participate in Leadership Sheridan County. Participants are chosen by application by the Leadership Sheridan County Steering Committee. Applications are currently being accepted through Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2023, for the 2024 class.

The Leadership Sheridan County program will celebrate 30 years next year. This year’s class brings the total program alumni to 413.
